M ake a Difference Day is a national day of volunteerism, initiated 10 years ago by USA Today and continues under their guidance and sponsorship. The Samuel Turner Foundation in conjunction with Friends of Long Beach Animals and Winners on Wheels participated in the October 23rd event by visiting the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Long Beach Veteran's Administration Hospital.
